ABOUT
Real estate is my second career. My first has been in Information Techonology, initially as a software programmer after receiving my bachelor’s in Applied Math from Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Applied Science, and later as a management consultant on IT projects for Fortune 500 companies, and the owner of an IT consulting firm in New York City. I continue to use my programming skills by creating and maintaining our business websites, but am also excited to be entering the world of real estate in Nashville.
I first got to know Nashville twenty-six years ago, when I married and moved from my hometown of New York City to The Shoals in northwest Alabama, because that was where my husband’s real estate and forestry consulting business was located. Fortunately, Music City was only two-and-a-half hours away, and so Nashville became my other home. It was where this city-gal-at-heart could get her “city fix” from time to time. We enjoyed being there so much that we purchased a condo on Music Row. When having toddlers made frequent trips less practical we decided to sell, but couldn’t stay away for long, and years later were lucky to find our second condo. This time we purchased in Historic Edgefield, another great neighborhood.
In the intervening years Nashville has flourished, and continues to grow, recently making the list as one of the fastest-growing cities of 2025. Besides its beautiful and unique skyline, Nashville has neighborhoods to suit every lifestyle: from the bright lights, energy and high-rise condos of a big city to the quiet streets, lined with trees and family homes, reminiscent of a small town. Getting to know these neighborhoods so that I can help my clients find the one that’s perfect for them is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding aspects of my work.
